About Us  Iola is a British Horse Society Intermediate Instructor (BHSII) and also holds the Advanced National Certificate in Equine Business Management (ANCEBM).  She is qualified to teach riders up to and including BHSPTT.

Iola's own personal interest is in Dressage at which she has competed successfully for many years as an Affiliated member of British Dressage up to Advanced and Prix St George levels on many different breeds and levels of horses - many of which are horses used in the Riding Centre every day.

Rheidol Riding Centre was established in 1991 when Iola returned from teaching riding in the USA. We purchased an almost derelict small holding which, through the hard work and dedication of the family, has grown into a thriving and professional business.

Our Staff are all BHS trained and hold different levels of teaching qualifications so we can offer instruction from the first child's lesson to career riders preparing for the BHS examinations.

We offer a wide variety of activities from first riding lessons and lead rein through to advanced career qualifications for B.H.S. & N.V.Q.

We train for and hold Riding & Road Safety Tests and Equine Specific First Aid Courses.

Three-hour pub rides are held during the summer months, and one and two-hour treks through the surrounding countryside for beginners and experienced riders.

We are a B.H.S. Pony Club Centre catering for local young riders on our ponies with regular training in both riding and stable management.

We also host Riding for the Disabled R.D.A. for groups and individuals.
